The “Balmoral” whiskey tumblers by Bavarian manufactory Theresienthal add a delightfully royal ambiance to your bar. Historical patterns from the manufactory’s archive are cut by hand into the mouthblown crystal glass. Each of the six patterns represents an English royal House. The patterns are available individually and as a set of all six.
The name of the collection goes back to “Balmoral Castle”, a country estate of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert in the Scottish Highlands. Queen Victoria was a passionate Scotch whiskey drinker – and the nearest whiskey distillery just a stone’s throw away.
From melting the glass to the final polish, glassware by Theresienthal is completely handmade by passionate artisans. Since the tumblers are mouthblown, each piece is unique. Small air bubbles that may be trapped inside the crystal glass testify to the manual production and underline the individual character of each “Balmoral” whiskey tumbler.
